The staff is the backbone of The Pet Palace. We have been blessed to have built a team of professional pet lovers with skills that have set us apart from all others. From veterinarian technicians, trainers, groomers, zoo keepers, search and rescue & recovery experience we have a well rounded knowledgeable group of knowledgeable staff. Ongoing training is imperative for our team to keep current on certificates and new techniques. Our staff is also cross-trained so they are able to help out in any situation that may arise due to staff illness etc.

Stephenie Schneider Community Events Manager / Reservations Manager

Stephenie keeps you up to date on late breaking pet news. Whether it is a food recall, testing a new dog toy or treat, she is full of information to share. Visit our blog for product testing, industry food recalls and more. Make sure and check out the events calendar so you can be informed about Pet Palace as well as community pet events. On a day to day basis, Stephenie is assisting with the check-in/out process at out concierge desk. Stephenie has had a lifetime full of pets, from Yorkies to Great Danes, African Grey Birds to her Himalayan cat she loves them all!

Darrell Bivens Director of Training / Behavioral Consultant / CGC Instructor / Evaluator

Darrell started his career working with dogs in 1994. Since that time he has received his Certified Pet Care Technician accreditation, Pet First Aid/CPR certification, Behavioral Problem Solving I, Advance Behavior/Problem Solving and Skills Training. Darrell is also a Canine good Citizen Evaluator.

Darrell Keeps abreast of the industry by attending National and Regional Conferences. He is constantly education staff on behavioral based skills and techniques, works with area veterinarians and top pet food manufactures to conduct training sessions for The Pet Palace staff in effort to stay current on health and nutritional issues.

Darrell has had the privilege to study under the internationally recognized British behaviorist John Rogerson and the late Lee Mannix, owner of Lee Mannix-Center for Canine Behavior in Austin, Texas. His unique approach to training and understand of dog behavior and animal/human relationships bring successful communication between the pet ad pet owner who have tried and failed at conventional methods of training.
